5 Anime Recommendation for You Beginners. No 4 So Funny

Nowadays, anime has become very popular among all groups, from children, teenagers, adults, young people, and the elderly. This is due to the success of anime promotion in various aspects, as I wrote in my previous article. As a result, many people have started watching anime. However, not all anime is suitable for those who are new to watching anime, as some anime may be considered a bit challenging for beginners or those who are not yet accustomed to the typical patterns of anime series. But don't worry, for those of you reading this article who want to start watching anime, I have recommendations for 5 anime that are recommended for beginners, taking into the number of episodes and the lightness of the story.

1. Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is an anime that tells the story of a boy named Kamado Tanjiro (main character) who becomes a demon slayer for the sake of his sister, whom he is determined to change from a demon back into a human. Tanjiro's journey continues after he becomes a member of the Demon Slayer Corps through rigorous training. Tanjiro faces powerful enemies—so powerful that he is cornered, but thanks to his strong determination, he is able to defeat these powerful enemies with the help of his two friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke. The three of them become comrades-in-arms as they slay demons. Then they meet the Hashira/Pillars, a group of extremely powerful demon slayers. They all fought together to exterminate demons, with the goal of defeating the final demon boss, Kibutsuji Muzan. With this simple plot, about a young man who is determined and works hard to achieve his goal, it is very suitable for beginners. Each season also doesn't have too many episodes. Moreover, the visual and animation quality is extraordinary and a feast for the eyes.

2.    Spy X Family

Spy X Family is an anime about Loid Forger, a spy assigned an important mission for world peace, but the mission requires a family to run smoothly. First, he adopts a child from an orphanage named Anya, who plays the role of his daughter. Then he finds a woman named Yor to play the role of Anya's mother. They play the role of a happy family, with a father, mother, and child. But each of them has a secret. Starting with the father, Loid Forger, whose real identity is as a spy agent; then the mother, Yor Forger, whose real identity is as a hired assassin; and the child, Anya Forger, whose real identity is as a mind-reading esper. With this family theme, the anime's plot is perfect for beginners who enjoy such storylines. The plot is light, relaxed, and has comedic elements, making it ideal for beginners.

3. The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity

The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity is an anime that tells the story of Tsumugi Rintarou, a high school boy who looks scary to others, meeting Kaoruko Waguri, a girl from an elite girls' high school, who support each other. This romance-genre anime is perfect for beginners looking for anime in this genre. All the characters in the anime are very well written. The plot is light enough for beginners. Not only does it feature romance, but friendships and family relationships are also portrayed in equal measure, making this anime very wholesome.

4. One Punch Man

One Punch Man is an anime about the strongest hero named Saitama, who works as a hero as a hobby. As the title suggests, he is so strong that he only needs one punch to defeat his enemies. This action comedy anime is suitable for beginners who want a protagonist who is already strong from the start. The comedy in this anime is also easy for beginners to understand, making the humor truly funny and laugh-out-loud. The main character is made extremely strong from the start, likely because the anime's primary goal is comedy.

5. My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is an anime about a young man named Izuku Midoriya, who dreams of becoming the strongest hero. Even though he doesn't have a Quirk, he still tries his best to keep training and fights powerful enemies with the help of his friends. Just like Demon Slayer, this anime features a main character who is determined to do everything he can to achieve his goal. Lighthearted and filled with warm moments of friendship, it's perfect for beginners.

That's all for my recommendations. I hope the anime I mentioned above becomes your favorite. The anime above is also available on various anime streaming platforms. There are actually many more out there; you can search for them yourself according to your taste.
